Meet Our Designers

BOB HIRTH

General Manager & Designer - B.S. degree in Landscape Horticulture from The Ohio State University in Columbus.  He has been in the industry over 31 years - including working during high school & college at various firms in Cincinnati & Columbus.  He’s been with Delhi for 27 years!!

His design philosophy, developed over the years “I listen to the clients describe their wants and needs.  I always try to find out what each wants to achieve.  After that I incorporate their info with my experience & background to form integrated designs. It has to include all the client information because it’s their home & property - they will live with it - not me!” 

On the business: “Landscape, the green industry, is currently a boom industry & I feel fortunate to be part of it.  Anything I can contribute to this industry I feel is important.  I’m thankful to be able to make my contribution through Delhi Landscape Services”  Bob will begin serving a 1 year term in 2008 as President of ONLA, the Ohio Nursery & Landscape Association.

TRACY MURRAY

Tracy Murray graduated from Berea College and is an Ohio Certified Nursery Technician thru the Ohio Nursery & Landscape Association.  With 10 years experience, she has been with Delhi since 2006.  Tracy takes pride in her relationship with clients and enjoys the ongoing transformation that takes place bit-by-bit over the years.  Her favorite areas are woodland and poolside, and her personal styles are contemporary and artisan. 

Finding gratification in hearing the words ‘it’s just what we wanted’, she enjoys making each project an extension of the individual client.  A good listener and go-getter she will work hard to make you happy.   

TIM YOUNG

Tim Young studied Landscape Design and Perspective from The Ohio State University.  He has 35 years experience as a Landscape Designer.  Tim has been with Delhi for over 11 years now.

Knowledge of multiple design styles and ability to implement them is Tim’s strong suit and has not gone unnoticed.  Eight “Best of Show” medals by the Royal Horticultural Society at the Cincinnati Flower Show are a testament to his creativity.  The CFS is the only show outside of England to qualify for this award and no other company has earned this prestige more than twice!

Tim is also valuable to Delhi because of his residential designs.  His creative mind and attention to detail is brilliant.  He brings cohesiveness to a landscape – especially those of historic homes by creating a design that appreciates & enhances their architecture.

He reflects “I enjoy my work as much today as I did the first day I got into this line of work.  I have been lucky to have been able to take a hobby & make a career out of it.”  “I listen to the clients to create a design that reflects their needs & ideas; using all my diverse experience & training”.
